- an upright deciduous tree with weeping golden branches
- one of the best of the weeping willows
- new, gracefully pendulous branchlets are yellow in color
- non-showy catkins appear in Spring
- reaches 50 to 75 feet high and wide
- good for sunny areas with regularly moist well-drained soils, though not near underground plumbing lines
- grows in zones 4-8
