Rose of Sharon

Cultivars of Hibiscus syriacus, plus a few hybrids, offer an impressive rainbow of summer blooms not including yellow or orange.

The single form in particular also happens to be a favorite flower type of mine, and I was happy to learn of its salad-edible qualities! Thus it could belong in the orchard.

Here’s a full rainbow each of Singles & Doubles, plus a partial rainbow of dwarfs and some extra white stragglers that didn’t quite fit with the rest.

Singles Rainbow

Cultivars running south to north along the driveway hill, showing estimated mature height and somewhat relative width in feet

Doubles Rainbow

Part of the Rose Line running South to North along the West borderline, measuring height in feet

Dwarf Rainbow

Just a few running west to east inside the driveway island at the street, measuring height in feet

Miscellaneous Whites

Various different sizes of mostly white semi-doubles, scattered around arranged by size, showing height and relative widths
